Greek ἐξ ἀριστερῶν σου with the trailing possessive parallels the right-hand phrase; the Vulgate again employs directional ad sinistram tuam, while the Peshitta synthesises preposition and suffixed possessive in ܡܢ ܣܡܠܟ ('from your left'), the root s-m-l cognate with Hebrew שְׂמֹאל.

Greek expresses the locative with preposition, article, noun, and possessive (ἐν τῇ δόξῃ σου); the Vulgate drops the article (in gloria tua), Latin lacking the definite article; the Peshitta synthesises preposition, noun, and possessive suffix into the single form ܒܫܘܒܚܟ ('in your glory'), from the root sh-b-kh cognate with Hebrew שָׁבַח.
