Greek ἐκπερισσῶς ('vehemently, all the more') is an intensive adverbial compound; the Vulgate amplius and Syriac ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ both render the comparative sense ('more, exceedingly') but lose the emphatic ἐκ- prefix that conveys Peter's overzealous insistence.

Greek ἐλάλει is a single imperfect (3rd sg.) matched by Latin loquebatur; the Peshitta employs the periphrastic past ܐܡܪ ܗܘܐ (perfect + enclitic ܗܘܐ), a standard Syriac construction for durative or continuous past action equivalent to the Greek imperfect.

Greek μᾶλλον ('more, all the more') intensifies the preceding clause and is here punctuated as raised dot; the Latin renders only the punctuation (colon) and folds the comparative force into amplius above, so no separate lexeme answers to μᾶλλον. The Peshitta likewise has no discrete equivalent, its force absorbed into ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ.

Greek ἐάν introduces the protasis with a single conditional particle; the Vulgate expands to Et si, prefixing a connective conjunction, while Syriac ܕܐܢ combines the relative/complementiser ܕ with the conditional ܐܢ — three different ways of marking the same hypothetical clause.

Greek employs the emphatic double negative οὐ μή ('by no means') with the future indicative for the strongest possible denial; both the Latin single non and the Syriac single ܠܐ render the negation without reproducing the emphatic compound, a routine flattening of this Greek construction.

Greek ἀπαρνήσομαι ('I will deny/disown') is matched by Latin negabo; the Peshitta uses ܐܟܦܘܪ from root k-p-r ('to deny, repudiate, blaspheme'), which carries a stronger overtone of apostasy/repudiation than the simple Greek and Latin verbs of denial.

Greek closes with ἔλεγον (imperfect of λέγω) and a paragraph marker; the Vulgate dicebant preserves the imperfect, while the Peshitta ܐܡܪܘ is a simple perfect of root a-m-r ('they said'), a slight aspectual shift from durative to punctual that does not affect the sense.
