Greek and Latin use the bare accusative subject of the infinitive (κάμηλον / camelum); Syriac ܠܓܡܠܐ prefixes the object marker ܠ-, the regular Syriac way of marking the logical subject of the impersonal construction with ܦܫܝܩ, semantically equivalent.

All three render 'to pass/enter' but with differing placement and lexis: Greek διελθεῖν ('pass through') and Latin transire stand at the clause end, whereas Syriac ܕܢܥܘܠ (root ʿ-w-l, 'enter') is fronted before the prepositional phrase, a typical Syriac reordering of the infinitive clause.

Greek τῆς τρυμαλιᾶς τῆς ῥαφίδος ('the eye of the needle') is matched by Latin foramen acus ('hole of the needle') and Syriac ܒܚܪܘܪܐ ܕܡܚܛܐ ('in the opening of the needle'); Syriac and Latin both choose 'hole/opening' rather than the more anatomical Greek τρυμαλιά, and Syriac supplies the preposition ܒ where Greek uses διά.

Greek expresses 'into the kingdom of God' with εἰς + accusative and an analytic genitive (τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ), and Latin likewise (in regnum Dei); Syriac compresses this into ܠܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ, using a proleptic pronominal suffix ('his-kingdom, of God'), an idiomatic Syriac possessive construction.
