Greek uses the aorist participle κρατήσας ('having taken hold'); Latin matches with the present participle tenens; the Peshitta fuses conjunction and verb into ܘܐܚܕ ('and he took hold'), a finite coordinate verb rather than a participle, a typical Syriac paratactic construction.

Greek τῆς χειρὸς τοῦ παιδίου and Latin manum puellæ both spell out 'the hand of the child' analytically; the Peshitta compresses this into ܒܐܝܕܗ ܕܛܠܝܬܐ ('by her hand, of the girl'), employing a proleptic pronominal suffix on 'hand' anticipating the following genitive — an idiomatic Syriac possessive construction.

Greek λέγει is a historic present ('he says'); the Peshitta ܘܐܡܪ and Latin ait render it as a past/coordinate verb, normalising the vivid present tense common in Markan narrative.

The Greek interpretive gloss ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον ('which is, being translated') and the corresponding Latin quod est interpretatum are absent from the Peshitta. Since Syriac is cognate with the original Aramaic ܛܠܝܬܐ ܩܘܡܝ, no translation formula is needed, hence its omission.

The Vulgate inserts an explicit colon punctuation mark introducing the direct speech; the Greek marks this with the raised dot after αὐτῇ, while the Peshitta has no equivalent punctuation token.

Greek supplies the vocative τὸ κοράσιον ('little girl') with its article, matched by Latin Puella; the Peshitta lacks this renewed vocative within the interpretive clause because it omits the whole translation formula, the Aramaic command standing alone.

The phrase σοὶ λέγω / tibi dico ('I say to you') is preserved in Greek and Latin (the latter parenthesising it) but has no counterpart in the Peshitta, which transmits only the bare Aramaic ܩܘܡܝ without the expansive command found in the Greek rendering.
