Greek με καθαρίσαι and Latin me mundare express 'to cleanse me' with object pronoun plus infinitive; the Peshitta fuses both into the single infinitive ܠܡܕܟܝܘܬܝ ('to cleanse me'), the 1st-person suffix supplying the object — a compression characteristic of Syriac infinitival syntax.
