Greek employs a conditional relative construction (ὃς γὰρ ἐὰν, 'for whoever if'); the Peshitta collapses this into the universalising substantive ܟܠ ܓܝܪ ('for everyone who'), while the Vulgate Qui enim renders a simple relative without explicit conditional particle. All three express the same protasis.
