Greek uses an aorist participle εἰσελθών ('having entered'), subordinating the action, whereas both the Vulgate (intravit) and Peshitta (ܘܥܠ) render a finite indicative verb. The Syriac verb ܘܥܠ also carries the conjunction, hence its overlap with the opening καί/Et.
