The Greek verb ἔρχονται and Latin veniunt are 3rd-person plural ('they come'), whereas the Peshitta ܘܐܬܐ is here morphologically singular/collective and is fused with the preceding conjunction; the difference is one of number-idiom rather than meaning, the Syriac treating the arriving party as a unit.

Greek supplies the preposition εἰς before Βηθσαϊδάν; the Vulgate uses the bare accusative Bethsaidam without a preposition (a Latinate accusative of motion-toward), and Syriac prefixes the directional lamadh in ܠܒܝܬ-ܨܝܕܐ. All three name the same place but encode direction differently.

Greek παρακαλοῦσιν is a single present indicative; the Vulgate rogabant shifts to imperfect ('they kept asking'), and the Syriac employs a periphrastic past with the auxiliary ܗܘܘ (ܒܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ), matching the Latin durative aspect more closely than the Greek present.

Greek expresses the object of touching with a genitive pronoun governed by ἅπτομαι (αὐτοῦ ἅψηται), the verb's normal case-government; both Latin (illum tangeret) and Syriac (ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܗ, 'that he might draw near to him') use an accusative/dative object, the Syriac additionally rendering 'touch' with the verb q-r-b ('approach, come near') rather than a strict 'touch' lexeme.
