Greek places Elijah before Moses (Ἠλίας σὺν Μωϋσεῖ), whereas both Peshitta (ܐܠܝܐ ܘܡܘܫܐ) and Vulgate (Elias cum Moyse) follow the same sequence. However, Peshitta uses the coordinating conjunction ܘ ('and') rather than the prepositional construction σὺν/cum ('with'), presenting the two figures as co-equal subjects rather than Moses as accompaniment to Elijah.
