Greek expresses boldness with the aorist participle τολμήσας ('having dared'); the Vulgate renders it adverbially as audacter ('boldly'), while the Peshitta uses a coordinated finite verb ܘܐܡܪܚ ('and he was bold'), each a distinct syntactic strategy for the same idea.

Greek and Latin coordinate the two actions with an explicit conjunction (καὶ / et) before the verb of asking; the Syriac equivalent waw is prefixed directly onto the verb ܘܫܐܠ rather than standing as a separate token, hence no distinct Syriac index here.

Greek τὸ σῶμα and Latin corpus stand as independent nouns with article; Syriac ܦܓܪܗ ('his body') uses a pronominal suffix anticipating the following genitive, a typical Semitic anticipatory-possessive construction.
