The Greek imperfect ἐκάθητο and Latin imperfect sedebat are rendered in Syriac by the periphrastic ܝܬܒ ܗܘܐ (perfect verb + auxiliary ܗܘܐ), the standard Syriac means of expressing durative or continuous past action.

Greek marks the clause break with καί and the Vulgate with a colon; the Peshitta has no separate token here, its conjunction being prefixed to the following verb ܘܐܡܪܘ.

Greek λέγουσιν and Vulgate dicunt are present-tense (historic present) 3rd plural; the Peshitta ܘܐܡܪܘ is a perfect ('and they said'), reflecting the common Syriac tendency to render the Greek historic present as a simple past.

The Greek alone (per the longer Western/Caesarean reading) includes καὶ αἱ ἀδελφαί σου ('and your sisters'); both the Peshitta and the Vulgate omit the sisters entirely, agreeing with the dominant Alexandrian text-type which lacks this clause at Mark 3:32.

Greek ζητοῦσίν and Latin quærunt are 3rd plural present; the Syriac ܒܥܝܢ is a participial/predicative form agreeing with the plural subject, expressing ongoing action ('are seeking') consistent with the Greek progressive sense.
