The functional connective force is comparable, but the Syriac nuances the link as mildly contrastive.

Greek δεῖ and Latin oportet are impersonal verbs of necessity ('it is necessary'), whereas the Peshitta renders the obligation with the verbal adjective ܥܬܝܕܐ ('it is destined/about to be'), shifting the modality slightly toward futurity and divine appointment rather than bare necessity.

Greek τὸ εὐαγγέλιον and Latin Evangelium employ the loan-noun 'gospel/good news', whereas the Peshitta uses the native Semitic ܣܒܪܬܐ ('good tidings/proclamation') bearing the first-person suffix ('my gospel' in some witnesses), a lexical rather than borrowed rendering of the same concept.
