Greek ἐπληρώθη (aorist passive of πληρόω, 'was fulfilled') is rendered analytically in Latin by impleta est (perfect passive periphrasis). The Syriac collapses the conjunction and verb into a single form ܘܫܠܡ (root sh-l-m, 'and it was fulfilled/completed'), the same root underlying ܫܠܡܐ 'peace/completion'; hence the Peshitta token 0 carries both the conjunction and the verb.

Greek employs an articular present participle ἡ λέγουσα ('the one saying'), an attributive participial construction; Latin renders this with a relative clause quæ dicit ('which says'). The Syriac ܕܐܡܪ uses the relative/proclitic d- prefix on the verb (root a-m-r), a relative-clause construction parallel to the Latin rather than the Greek participle — a routine syntactic divergence in rendering Greek attributive participles.

The preposition μετά + genitive ('with') and Latin cum + ablative both stand as discrete words, whereas the Syriac fuses the conjunction, preposition, and relative into the proclitic cluster ܕܥܡ (d-ʿm, root d-e-m, 'and-with'); the Syriac orthography agglutinates what Greek and Latin write separately.

Greek ἀνόμων ('lawless ones', from ἄνομος, lit. 'without law') and Latin iniquis ('the unjust/wicked') describe the malefactors by privation of νόμος/law, whereas the Syriac ܥܘܠܐ (root e-w-l, cognate with Hebrew עוֹל 'iniquity') frames them by positive moral wrongdoing. The quotation derives from Isa 53:12 LXX, and the lexical spread reflects each tradition's standard equivalent for the transgressor word-group.

The Clementine Vulgate inserts an explicit colon after dicit to mark the boundary between the citation formula and the quoted scripture (Isa 53:12). Neither the Greek (which uses only a comma after λέγουσα) nor the unpointed Peshitta supplies a corresponding heavy punctuation mark.
