Greek ὤμοσεν ('he swore', aorist) is matched by Latin juravit; in the Peshitta the conjunction ܘ- and the verb ܝܡܐ are fused into the single token ܘܝܡܐ, so the verb shares its index with the preceding conjunction group — a feature of Syriac orthography rather than a textual divergence.

Greek adds the adverbial accusative πολλά ('greatly, vehemently'), intensifying the oath. Neither the Peshitta nor the Vulgate render this intensifier, the Latin reading swearing simply as juravit and the Syriac as ܘܝܡܐ without modifier.

The Greek conditional-relative cluster ὅ τι ἐάν ('whatever') is rendered by the Latin pleonastic Quia quidquid and by the single Syriac noun ܡܕܡ ('the thing/whatever') prefixed with the relative ܕ-; each tradition expresses the indefinite relative idiomatically with differing word counts.

Greek explicitly supplies the object pronoun με ('me') with the verb αἰτήσῃς; the Latin petieris and the Syriac ܕܬܫܐܠܝܢ (from root sh-a-l, 'to ask') embed the second-person subject in the verbal inflection and omit the separate object pronoun as redundant.

The Greek τῆς βασιλείας μου ('of my kingdom') with article and possessive genitive is paralleled by the Latin regni mei and by the Syriac, which fuses the noun with the partitive into ܠܦܠܓܗ ('to its half') and the possessive suffix into ܕܡܠܟܘܬܝ; Syriac compresses the half + kingdom + first-person possessive into two suffixed tokens against three in Greek and Latin.
