Greek uses the aorist participle ἐμβὰς with prepositional phrase εἰς τὸ πλοῖον ('having embarked into the boat'); Vulgate employs the present participle ascendens with accusative navim (without article); Peshitta uses the perfect ܘܣܠܩ ܠܣܦܝܢܬܐ ('and he went up to the ship').
