Greek εἰς συνέδρια and Latin in consiliis ('into councils/sanhedrins', plural) use a preposition + plural noun; Syriac ܠܕܝܢܐ employs the lamadh-prefixed singular 'to the tribunal/judgement', a collective rendering that flattens the institutional plural of the Greek συνέδριον.

Greek δαρήσεσθε ('you will be beaten/flogged', from δέρω) and Syriac ܬܬܢܓܕܘܢ ('you will be scourged/dragged') denote corporal punishment; the Vulgate vapulabitis uses the deponent vapulo 'to be thrashed', a colloquial Latin equivalent with the same passive sense.

Greek (ἡγεμόνων καὶ βασιλέων, 'governors and kings') and Latin (præsides et reges) list governors first, then kings; the Peshitta inverts the order to ܡܠܟܐ ܘܗܓܡܘܢܐ ('kings and governors'), a word-order divergence placing the higher office first.
