Greek expresses 'name to me' with noun ὄνομά plus the separate dative μοι; the Syriac collapses both into the single suffixed form ܫܡܢ (here a 1st-person possessive), while the Vulgate expands fully with mihi nomen est, supplying the copula. The constructions are semantically equivalent verbless/copular predications.
