All three render the inferential conjunction (ὥστε / ܗܟܝܠ / Itaque, 'so then, therefore'). The Greek places it clause-initially while Syriac ܗܟܝܠ stands enclitically in third position after the predicate, a normal Syriac syntactic placement for the postpositive particle.

Greek κύριός and Latin Dominus express 'Lord' as an independent predicate nominative; Syriac ܡܪܗ ('its Lord', root m-r-h) carries a pronominal suffix referring back to the Sabbath, yielding 'lord of it' — a construction anticipating the genitive that becomes explicit later in the Syriac clause.

The phrase 'the Son of Man' (ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου / ܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ / Filius hominis) is common to all three, but its position differs: Greek and Latin place it immediately after the copula, whereas Syriac defers ܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ to the very end of the clause, after the mention of the Sabbath, producing a markedly different surface word order while preserving the predication.
