Greek NT λαβόντες
Peshitta ܘܢܣܒܘ
Vulgate apprehendentes

Greek λαβόντες and Latin apprehendentes are aorist/present participles ('having taken/seizing'); the Syriac ܘܢܣܒܘ is a finite verb coordinated by waw ('and they took'). The Syriac thus paratactically chains the action where Greek and Latin subordinate it as a participial circumstance.

Greek NT αὐτὸν
Peshitta ܩܛܠܘܗܝ
Vulgate eum

The pronominal object 'him' is expressed as the enclitic suffix -ohi on the Syriac verb ܩܛܠܘܗܝ, whereas Greek αὐτὸν and Latin eum employ a free-standing accusative pronoun; equivalent in sense but morphologically agglutinated in Syriac.

Greek NT αὐτὸν
Peshitta ܘܐܦܩܘܗܝ

Greek repeats the object pronoun αὐτὸν after ἐξέβαλον, while the Syriac again carries it as the verbal suffix on ܘܐܦܩܘܗܝ; the Vulgate ejecerunt omits any explicit object pronoun, leaving 'him' implied from the prior clause.

Greek NT ἔξω
Peshitta ܠܒܪ ܡܢ
Vulgate vineam

Greek uses the single adverb/improper preposition ἔξω and Latin the preposition extra; the Syriac renders the notion with a two-element construction ܠܒܪ ܡܢ ('to the outside, from'), an idiomatic compound prepositional phrase for 'outside of'.

construction Vulgate only
Vulgate et

The Vulgate inserts a colon (:) after occiderunt, a punctuational division separating the killing from the casting-out; this editorial pointing has no counterpart in the unpunctuated Greek and Syriac token streams.
