Peshitta postpones ܒܣܦܝܢܬܐ to the end of the clause, while Vulgate 'in navim' follows Greek word order but uses accusative of motion (navim) rather than locative, reflecting Latin directional syntax.

Greek uses the prepositional phrase κατ᾽ ἰδίαν (literally 'according to [their] own', i.e., privately, alone). Peshitta employs the adverbial construction ܒܠܚܘܕܝܗܘܢ (by themselves alone), with pronominal suffix making the subject explicit. Vulgate renders with the single adverb 'seorsum' (apart, separately), a more compressed Latin idiom conveying the same sense of isolation.
