Greek opens with a conditional protasis ἐὰν μή ('unless'); the Vulgate renders this with a relative clause qui non ('who [does] not'), continuing the structure of the previous verse. The Peshitta uses the simple conjunctive negation ܘܠܐ ('and not'), a paratactic construction typical of Syriac that flattens the Greek subordination.

Greek uses the single adjective ἑκατονταπλασίονα ('hundredfold'). The Peshitta renders it analytically as ܚܕ ܒܡܐܐ ('one in a hundred'), and the Vulgate as centies tantum ('a hundred times as much'); both versions paraphrase the compound Greek numeral with a periphrastic multiplicative idiom.

The demonstrative τούτῳ / ܗܢܐ / hoc agrees across all three; the Vulgate appends a colon (idx 9) introducing the enumeration that follows, a versional punctuation feature absent from the Greek and Syriac word-stock.

Greek uses an articular present participle τῷ ἐρχομένῳ ('the one which is coming'); the Vulgate compresses this to the future participle futuro ('to come'), and the Syriac employs a relative clause ܕܐܬܐ ('that comes'). All three express 'the age to come' but through three different syntactic devices: attributive participle, adjectival participle, and relative clause.
