Greek has the redundant causative construction ἐποίησεν αὐτὸν διέβλεψεν ('he made him look'), with διέβλεψεν of clearing sight; Latin paraphrases as cœpit videre ('began to see'); the Peshitta substitutes ܘܬܩܢ ('and he was restored/set right'), shifting the idea from looking to restoration of function.

The καί is matched in the Vulgate by colon (':') plus 'et'; the Peshitta again coordinates asyndetically without a separate conjunction here.

Greek ἀπεκατέστη ('he was restored', double-augment 2nd aorist) is matched by the Latin periphrastic perfect passive restitutus est; the Peshitta expresses this notion earlier with ܘܬܩܢ and so has no separate token corresponding to it here.

Greek καί introduces the final clause; the Peshitta employs the auxiliary ܗܘܐ to form a continuous past with ܚܙܐ ('he was seeing'), a periphrastic construction rather than a coordinating conjunction.

Greek ἐνέβλεπεν (imperfect, durative 'he kept seeing') is rendered by the Peshitta ܚܙܐ with auxiliary ܗܘܐ; the Latin recasts it as a result clause ita ut ... videret ('so that he saw'), introducing a consecutive construction absent in Greek and Syriac.
