Greek ἐκπορεύεται is third-person singular present middle/passive; Peshitta ܗܘ ܢܦܩܢ employs the participial pronoun ܗܘ with plural verb ܢܦܩܢ, creating a periphrastic construction that agrees with the plural subject 'evils'. Vulgate procedunt uses third-person plural, agreeing with mala. The Peshitta construction reflects Syriac's tendency toward analytic verbal forms.

Peshitta inserts the pronominal suffix ܠܗ ('to him') before ܠܒܪܢܫܐ ('the man'), creating an emphatic dative construction absent in both Greek (τὸν ἄνθρωπον, simple accusative) and Vulgate (hominem, accusative). This represents a Syriac stylistic intensification clarifying the object of defilement without altering the core meaning.
